Wedding Trends 2018

I love reading about wedding trends each year and seeing all the creative options available.  Are you thinking of trying something different for your wedding?  Here's a few ideas that caught my attention and that I think are on trend for 2018.

Pampas Grass

There is one floral trend that I'm sure is going to take off this year.  Pampas grass! Our love affair with whimsical boho weddings continues and this muted, textured grass fits in perfectly.  It's also very versatile and can be added to many other styles.  For example: rustic celebrations, city chic or modern luxury.  This grass is beautiful, long lasting, and will make a big statement in any floral piece.

I'm obsessed with this look and can't wait to see it pop up everywhere.

Crowns

A delicate crown can be the simplest of accessories or a statement piece.  To say that I love this trend is an understatement since 10 years ago for my own wedding I wore a crown fit for a princess :)  They're also very  versatile.  You can wear it with a veil, or have your hair loosely styled up or down around it.  It's romantic, whimsical, and so classic.  Even better, it's an accessory that your bridesmaids can look fabulous in too. Planning on using these beautiful accessories for your wedding?  We'd love to see how.

Gold Leaf Detailing

Ok, I know this sounds crazy because gold leaf has been a staple for artist and crafters alike BUT applying gold leaf as body art for your wedding day will have everyone talking!  I love this because it's a shiny pop of beauty and fashion that isn't going to break the bank but is super unique and looks amazing! You can sprinkle some on your shoulders if your wearing a strapless dress to add that extra oomph or you can highlight your hair or eyes for that additional sparkle on your wedding day.

Thank you to everyone involved with this creative shoot.  We can't wait to see all the wonderful trends in 2018.  We hope this has inspired you for your special day!
