We are really excited to announce that we are now booking weddings on Vancouver Island. We have had a few family members move out there in the past couple years and we can’t wait to join wedding couples in our new home away from home.
While we were on the Island, we spent a couple days exploring downtown Victoria, a couple days visiting family in Nanaimo, and a couple days visiting my parents in Courtney. We happen to fly in a day after the 12’ snowfall, but with Saskatchewan being home for so long, it didn’t seem too wintery at all :)
Everywhere we drove, walked, and hiked, we couldn’t help but think about how beautiful a backdrop the entire island was for weddings. We have lots of great spots in Saskatchewan, but we don’t have mountains, castles or the ocean :)
We also had the opportunity to talk to so many newly engaged couples at the Wedding Show. Congratulations to the team at the Victoria Dream Wedding Show for putting on a well organized and well attended show. I stopped chatting with couples and looked at my watch for the first time and realized there was 10 minutes until teardown and I was meeting new people for nearly 5 hours straight. We’ll definitely be back next year, and look forward to participating in Nanaimo and Courtney/Comox shows in the future as well.
